I Planned, I Planted

After a few tries and misses, I came up with a plan.  It was a good plan, except that it would have required getting trellising up today in order to plant peas that should have (according to the seed packet) been planted a minimum of 3 weeks ago.  I intended to go straight to the hardware store after work, rush over to the garden, and get those darn trellises up tout suite.  Alas, although my heart was willing, after yesterday, my back was not.

So, I reworked the plan, sans peas; it now looks like this.

Despite my stooping difficulties, I did plant:

And I also commandeered some pathway materials--pretty good for a half hour's work!  Now, lets hope the week of rain and thunderstorms we're supposed to have materializes to get those seeds started.
